Za'Kiesha was a great fit for our family! She came in to assist me when my son was about 1 month old. The goal was for her to assist me in transitioning back to work and school with a newborn and she did just that. On her very first visit she was able to identify possible feeding issues and advised me to contact our doctor. A specialist later confirmed that Za'Kiesha's thoughts were correct, and we were able to make informed decisions on how to address the issue. She also helped me with lactation tools that allowed me to give my son breast milk much longer than I initially thought I would be able to. She provided resources and information that I may not have found on my own. My only regret was not fully understanding the role of a doula and finding Za'Kiesha during my pregnancy. I highly recommend Za'Kiesha and often educate other moms on how helpful a doula can be.
